A local CPA firm has immediate opening for full-time para-professional.
Qualified candidates will:
· Have in-depth knowledge of QuickBooks
· Ability to perform checking, payroll and general ledger tasks
· Be able to perform all payroll associated tasks including preparing payroll checks, payroll reports and payroll tax deposits – both within the QuickBooks program as well as associated with non QuickBooks quarterly payrolls.
· Ability to understand and work with manual bookkeeping systems
· Have at least five years bookkeeping experience.
Preferred qualifications:
· Previous experience in an accounting firm
· Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting program
This is a full-time position that could work into permanent for the right candidate. Pay depends on qualifications.
